Reed-Kellogg’s Sentence Diagram can be used to record and confirm structure of a target sentence.
However, it might be difficult for English learners to use the diagram in their learning activity, such as repeated reading.
The diagram is suitable for native English speakers who can construct a sentence from listed words that are not in order of a sentence.
Chomsky’s Tree structures for Syntactic Structures are not helpful for English learners either.
Sentence Structure Diagrams help ESL learners by making sentences visually understandable while keeping them readable.
Learners can use the diagram in their repeated reading and in-depth reading.
