Translations
- transformation： 変換とは図形の位置や大きさに対してなされる変化のこと。新しい[変換先の]図形を像とよぶ。
- translation： 平行移動では、図形の全ての点が同じ距離、同じ方向に移動する。
「変換」や「像」という数学の基幹の考え方から説明が始まっています。
変換先の図形は像として青色で示しています。
また像の点は「A’」などと書かれます。読み方は、A primeです。

Reflections and Rotations
- reflection： 対称移動では、図形は対称の軸とよばれる直線に対し鏡映される（ひっくり返される）。
- rotation： 回転移動では、図形は回転の中心とよばれる固定点を中心に、一定の角度、方向に回転される。
平行移動も同様ですが、座標平面上での説明により、わかりやすくなっています。
例えば、右へ（x軸にそって）6ユニット、上へ（y軸にそって）3ユニットの移動など。
わかりやすいだけでなく、点(x, y)の像は(x+6, y+3)であるなど、関数のグラフへと考えを広げやすいと思います。

TIPS
・English textbooks tend to introduce the transformation’s concept itself first. The concept of an “image”「像」 is emphasized and images are usually shown in different color. Also, ”Dilations”「伸張」 are introduced with the other three kinds of transformation.
